Public talk “Well-Being”

On May 13, the first preventive and anti-aging clinic in Dubai called “MedPalm” was opened. At this event
I spoke as a guest speaker with a lecture "Well-being: being / well”.
HOW IT WAS
First of all, the philosophy of the clinic is close to me. I am also of the opinion that an integrated approach is important in any area of life, whether it is a health issue, financial achievement, career growth, social or personal success.
Let’s appeal to the concepts of “integrity" and "healing". These two aspects are intertwined. As in the field where I work and evolve, as in the field of health - it’s important an integrated, comprehensive approach with no emphasis on the development of only one area of well-being: financial wealth, family welfare, etc.
«HEALTH» is not the absence of illness or physical defects, but a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being.
My public talk was devoted exactly to this fundamental question for the harmonious existence of the individual and his own well-being.

Striving for well-being, people often focus on one area: family, finance, social, personal development... But it’s actually tied to our “inner selves” where the cornerstone is integrity.
Since that the image of our “inner selves” is composed of three components:
Personal “inner self” - as I see myself at the moment
Desired “inner self” - as I want to see myself
Represented “inner self” - as I show myself
Further, we talked about how to reconcile these 3 «personalities», teach them to cohabit harmoniously. In conclusion, I revealed to the guests an algorithm of targeted self-assistance in a situation of internal conflict. It consists in the phased implementation of 6 basic life strategies.

A targeted strategy that starts with health.

It’s about your attitude towards yourselves, your inner goals, first for yourselves, then for outside. The internal goals are formed from how do we feel and accordingly we can build external goals.

Strategy of positive relations with others.

We discussed the importance of developing emotional intelligence.

Personal growth strategy.

What is important here is not the strategy itself, but its place in the hierarchy: you should pay attention to the fact that the application of the strategy of personal growth is impossible without the realization of the first three points.

The strategy of «internal ecology»: our own inner values, based on which we make daily choices.
That’s why well-being or “being well” is a holistic approach to the way of life, with a focus on your “inner selves”, on the internal state of harmony, in order to be manifested in society and to be able to grow and develop in all the areas you desire, but in the most ecological and self-beneficial way.
